ZunZun + Nodha

ZunZun have been singing and playing Afro-Cuban music together for 10 years. Afro-Cuban music developed from the African people who were enslaved and brought to Cuba to work on the plantations. The songs and rhythms are dedicated to the orishas or gods worshiped in various religions from Africa. They are sung in Yor and Spanish, in the style of call and response. The music is polyrhythmic and played on conga drums, bat drums, cat's and shakers. We love performing and always have a great response from the audience.
