Didsbury Arts Festival (DAF) will be different in 2021 and beyond. We’re creating a new way for audiences to experience engaging contemporary art events. As always established and emerging artists will feature alongside local talent.
The festival will host familiar names in literature, contemporary music & DJs, jazz under the stars, cutting edge poets, leading theatre shows, comedy nights, clubbing for parents with kids, talks with artists, art walks and contributions from experts including the BBC, Manchester Museum and the film & Games industry. Overall it is going to be unmissable for culture vultures, families, friends and individual visitors.
The 2021 festival programme will be released in spring 2021 when you’ll discover the full programme, how to book and a festival map of venues.
‘In the age of the selfie, Insta and Popularist Politics vs injustices like Black Lives Matter, Fake News, Big Data – DAF invites voices to be heard’
We have reimagined the festival to become an exciting, diverse and artistically challenging event relevant to audiences in Greater Manchester and beyond. The festival is a great way to explore Didsbury through the community, activity, host venues, garden & park venues and our festival hub as a meeting and information point.
